Psalm 8 reminds us that although we are small compared to the universe, we are known and valued by God. It also calls us to care for the world He made and to see His wisdom in every part of it.
The “paths of the sea,” once a poetic phrase in once of the verses, became a scientific reality because one man in history, Matthew Maury,  believed that God’s Word could be trusted, even about the natural world.
